Born in Lukang, Changhua in 1912, Mr. Huang lost his father at an early age and was raised by his widowed mother. During World War II, he traveled between China and Japan, witnessing firsthand Japan’s national strength and the political turmoil in China. These experiences inspired his determination to revitalize the nation through industry and economic development. After returning to Taiwan following the war, he actively established two major enterprises—Wei Chuan and Hotai.
Founder Huang Lieh-ho, drawing from his early life experiences, deeply embraced the belief of “Take it from the society & use it for the society.” Even during his tenure as a corporate chairman, he demonstrated a strong commitment to giving back to the community.
After retiring, he devoted himself wholeheartedly to public welfare and established the Huang Lieh-ho Social Welfare Foundation, guided by the vision of “Life in Fulfillment, Society in Harmony.” He aspired to set an example as an entrepreneur and fulfill the mission of Nurturing Children, Empowering Youth, and Upholding the Health and Dignity of Seniors.

With a belief in fostering diverse strengths, we create a home after school — the P³ Zone of Play, Practice, and Performance, helping children build confidence and grow into responsible citizens. We also provide older adults with a space for lifelong learning and personal fulfillment, embracing the aspiration that children thrive, adults contribute, and seniors live with dignity and purpose.
